Here is mystery block #3...like I said, not fabrics I would have ever chosen. I guess they go with the others. It will be interesting to see what future months bring, and how they will all be tied together.
I FINALLY finished this scarf. I don't know why, but I just can't bring myself to knit in the summer, even with the A/C on. Now that it has cooled off a bit, I managed to get it done. I may get to wear it next month when I go up to MSP to visit my daughter, and then will just give it to her.
Mike bought me a new amaryllis bulb (and even planted it for me :-) It is called Red Lion and will be a solid red, unlike last year's. We still need to get some paperwhites.
This has already shot up several more inches.

I love, love, love the scarf. It turned out beautiful. You are so talented to actually be able to read a pattern like that, well I could read it, I guess I mean you are so talented to be able to follow it! LOL When I clicked on the scarf link it first took me to a beautiful picture of your back yard complete with big tree. Not like it was when I saw it:( Nancy
I think it will go great with my new red winter coat
I really like the colors in the quilt block. I guess large prints do have their place and add a different look to a quilt. Can't wait to see what's next. I am working on a Christmas tree skirt with Laurel Birch fabrics right now and am finding it hard to decide where to cute up such large designs. They are so beautiful and you have to sacrifice some, but it does look really pretty when done.
ooooooo....GREAT quilt square!....the scarf is lovely too!
