Blogging from my iPhone
Survived the storm with minimal damage, aside from an uprooted 30' maple tree that is lying on the roof of the house. No phone or electricity, but thank goodness for my iPhone! Mike is still at the hospital...hopefully he will come home tomorrow. Will post pictures when the power comes back on.

As far as the little bird, I was wondering the same thing. Where do they go?
Thank goodness you're all right! My dad lives up in Tyler now, and although I have yet to hear from them, I'm hoping for the best. Good luck and take care!

Oh wow. What an awful ordeal. Its good you are ok. The damage sucks though. All the Ike folks have been in my prayers.
Been hearing all sorts of news coverage on it here in Australia. Hope it's all ok.
